It's the first of
the month and searing heat has finally abated. We're enjoying the first few days of cooler temps. and cool breezes - just in time for our fall
picnic.We've had a great
summer with interesting demos, marvelous speakers, and a fantastic tour
of Olivet's fab lab. It's only fitting that we'll begin our fall term
with good food, good conversation and a sharing of our favorite
websites. Bring a listing of your 'top 2' websites to visit; we'll
compile a club list and you'll have something new to investigate before
October!
Don't forget to
bring a dish to share, and a potential member, to the picnic on the 10th
(you only have 9 more days to find a guest). Naturally, if there is
something special you wish to grill, bring it along. Otherwise, the
club will furnish meat and drink. Badmitten, batchi ball, bean bag toss -
are all welcome....if you care to bring it along.
We'll also initiate a membership drive (fall is the best time to get new members) and chat about future plans. So, whether you are a member now, have been, just visited or are a complete newbe - come to the picnic on the 10 th; discover the new activities, new members and a sassy new attitude.
